visionary education community - Reggio Emilia Inspired

I'm a student studying Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
& wish to go in depth into the study of Reggio Emilia Approach.

is there any degree available in any of your country?
or places/schools you know that offers such courses?

Hi Jessica,

I also don't know any courses on the RE approach, but you can do tours ~ but they are quite selective and wouldn't be cheap. They also control what you see and hear. Your best option would be to read what books you can and reflect on them, and joine social networks like this one so that you can talk through your ideas and get some answers to your questions. Everyone's interpretation of RE will be different and also depend upon what country and educational context in which they work. I hope this helps.

There are some colleges/universities here in America that are more Reggio-Inspired than others. If you are interested in a program reflective of the Reggio Approach I would start there. One way to do this is to look up various authors and then find out what school they work at. You can then contact them through the school website and ask questions regarding the fit of their respective programs with a Reggio Inspired approach. I know that I have seen articles and research regarding implementation of Reggio Inspired principles in college classes so you may also look into that body of knowledge. Good Luck!
