I found a solid wooden table at a Salvation Army. We cut off the legs, sanded down the top and refinished it. It makes a wonderful table for building on. I find that newer tables are not as sturdy.

What inspires you about the Reggio Emilia Approach?: The way it values children. The way the environment makes you feel, as well as how the use of documentation and photographs emphasize the children's capabilities and experiences.

About Me:: I am currently working as a SEIT (Sp. Ed. Itinerant Teacher), but am anxiously awaiting to return to the classroom next year. Hopefully in a Reggio-inspired school. I have 5 children aged 6-10. I live in NY.
