Thanks Anne,
Little steps will make the journey. I'm feeling inspired and hope to have courage to pull things through. Change will take time especially when the culture of the kindy is in a different mode.

I really loved the workshop at C&K central last Wednesday. Thank you! It truly inspired me and challenged me to reflect on issues I'm new to.

Welcome, Anne.
Perhaps you can help me think about how to document each child's progress in developing foundations in mathematics (for example) while holding fast to authentic and relevant learning. I'm trying to find a way to assess each child's mathematical thinking each month, and haven't yet found a system. I don't want to spring assessments on the children separate from their natural work in the classroom. I also don't want to neglect this fundamental language.

What inspires you about the Reggio Emilia Approach?
The respect and advocacy awarded children. The link to authentic and relevant learning resonates with me.
About Me:
I have been involved in this approach for many years though it is only now gaining a toehold and people are investigating the Reggio philosophy more and more.
