Maritza, Your pictures are wonderful. I love color explorations with children, it is so fascinating to observe as they make these seemingly magical discoveries. Could you tell me what the material is that the children are using in your photos? Thank…

Welcome, Maritza,
Is there a Spanish translation of the 100 Languages of Children? I tried to find one last year for my co-teacher, who is more fluent in Spanish than English.
Please share more about your school.

What inspires you about the Reggio Emilia Approach?
The profound respect for the child; the rich and comprehensive image of a child that has all the potential and possibilities to develop and grow in all areas; the permanent pedagogical reflection trying to link theory and practice; the value given to the use of the expressive languages to promote the symbolization processes. This remarkable approach has responded to my permanent search for a more sensible perspective in Early Childhood Education.
About Me:
An experienced early childhood educator who is acting as pedagogista at a Reggio inspired early childhood center.
