Hello Paul,

Here is the site I spoke of.

Two thoughts: You might try NAREA (North America Reggio Emilia Alliance) for a listing of schools and information. Second, Google Louise Boyd Cadwell, author of Bringing Reggio Emilia Home. She and her husband Ashley have a consulting business and may be able to answer questions. I have their information in my office but would have to search my to find. To my knowledge the only Reggio site in Arizona is Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool. Sorry no knowledge of site for your charter.
Alhambra will have a high school this upcoming year. Happy to see choices for our families. Have an enjoyable weekend.

Good afternoon,
I work for Alhambra School District. I applaud your desire in exploring implementation of the Reggio Approach at the secondary level. After spending three days with Lella Gandini, I have learned it takes time, persistence and collaboration. The past director of Fellowship Child Development Center had the best program to offer. Unfortunately the church made changes and she no longer works for them. She was an amazing gift to Anthem children and families. Best wishes with the opening of your charter school.

Hello Paul,

No, I do not run a school. I do however engage, discover and explore with under privileged children way down I-17 daily. Best wishes if you wish to stay within the area of Anthem for early education investing in the Reggio Approach.

It seems tricky to negotiate the large amount of content that older children are expected to learn while following their interests and inspirations. In pre-k, the focus is on developing dispositions toward learning and acquiring fundamental experiences with materials and relationships. We don't have to teach all the steps needed to do the quadratic equation.

I will be very interested to hear how you approach secondary education from a Reggio-inspired vantage.
