What inspires you about the Reggio Emilia Approach?
Getting creative with the children and seeing them develop ideas and inspire each other and not knowing exactly where we are going but always seeming to end up somewhere amazing!!
About Me:
originally from York, Uk, moved to Stockholm in1992 and have been working with children just about all of this time - various ages various roles!!
Now studying my MA by distance at Sheffield University in Early Childhood Education at the same time as working at a nursery school in Stockholm which has just gone Reggio - so we are really in the thick of it.
Went to the Reggio Institute a few weeks ago here in Stockholm and did a Reggio course and visited a few nurseries too!!
here in Sweden they start school at 7 although at 6 they have preschool in the school environment!!
